Why to Captcha in Facebook when you have a friend?

Developers in Facebook try to improve the features of Facebook frequently,their security issues are safe and secured till now but what happens if there is a security problem in the near future?

                                                            


The developers asked themselves this question and Facebook is trying to eliminate the old booooring Captcha recognition service and intends to bring a SocialAuthentication service in Facebook.

                                              
Captcha is a recognition service which makes sure whoever accessing a specific service is a human but not a non-human/bot.This will produce some random confusing words which the user must type to prove he is human.This kind of test is accessible by everyone who can read but Facebook thought that instead of giving a rough random characters , how about displaying an image which the Facebook account holder already knew in which he/she must type his/her friend's name to prove he/she is the authenticated user or not.

This one sounds like a good idea but if we make something,some one will try to break it!Lets see if it works in Facebook!

Are you using the most famous application in FaceBook - CityVille ?

Facebook now a days,has became an addiction .Its wide range of applications and features are attracting lot of people towards facebook.So while stumbling across the applications in Facebook ever thought which is the most famous and most used application in Facebook?

                                             
According to AppData City Ville is the famous application in Facebook crossing FarmVille by more than 2 times its popularity.The stats actually are as follows:


CityVille has nearly 61 million viewers where as FarmVille which was introduced longtime ago is behind City Ville with 58 million viewers.


Here we have to admire the developers in Zynga for their ability to catch the pulse of millions of Facebook users.Eventhough there are many other game developers in Facebook like playfish and the mighty EASPORTS they all are a letdown before the Zynga games.PlayFish and EA SPORTS came forward with their best game applications My Empire and EA SPORTS FIFA in Facebook which entertained in the starting stages but failed to last long and eventually faded away.


If we observe the list of game applications in the AppData we can see majority of them are Zynga games.They are literally successful in hypnotizing the Facebook users to use their games and and rather than a refreshment it became an addiction for these users.

                                                               
                                                               
It sounds silly when some one who is a Farm Ville fan introduces the game to a non Face Book,non-Farm Ville user."Hey are you playing the latest Farm Ville game in Face Book??Man,It's Really awesome!!You Know What??I adopted a pink cow yesterday for my barn and I am ready to open a Big Barn now!!".The first and foremost reaction from a non Farm Ville user will be "What the hell??Are you nuts?? A pink cow actually?? Sorry,I have better work to do rather than using this disgusting application!!".And one fine day this so called Non Farm Ville user opens this Farm Ville application and there it goes an other Farm Ville addict!!
I myself used to be a Farm Ville,Cafe World,My Empire,Treasure Isle,EA Sports FIFA game addict.But I somewhat came out of this world and I started allotting my time to do some useful works :D


So,if City Ville has crossed Farm Ville.It may be a bit more addictive than Farm Ville.So,the ones who not yet started City Ville beware!! :D
