Why to Captcha in Facebook when you have a friend?

Developers in Facebook try to improve the features of Facebook frequently,their security issues are safe and secured till now but what happens if there is a security problem in the near future?

                                                            


The developers asked themselves this question and Facebook is trying to eliminate the old booooring Captcha recognition service and intends to bring a SocialAuthentication service in Facebook.

                                              
Captcha is a recognition service which makes sure whoever accessing a specific service is a human but not a non-human/bot.This will produce some random confusing words which the user must type to prove he is human.This kind of test is accessible by everyone who can read but Facebook thought that instead of giving a rough random characters , how about displaying an image which the Facebook account holder already knew in which he/she must type his/her friend's name to prove he/she is the authenticated user or not.

This one sounds like a good idea but if we make something,some one will try to break it!Lets see if it works in Facebook!

Pokemon White Version and Black Version

Pokemon is back!After much anticipation Nintendo is releasing Pokemon White Version and Pokemon Black Version on March 2011.The previous 5 generations of Pokemon games(Diamond,Gold,Platinum,HeartGold,SoulSilver) has nice 3D gaming attributes which are set to be continued in this new Black and White versions!

Both the games are set in a region called Unova with new exciting Pokemons,trainers and manymore exciting features.We also come across a Castelia City where we must explore the Pokemons,gyms and trainers!This version has exclusively around 156 New Pokemon covering the types from Psychic-Ground.We can use Pokedex to know about the new unknown Pokemons and also a new Poke Shifter to trade the Pokemons.

As in the previous versions a special Pokemon can be unlocked in each of the versions named Zoroark.

Hide your important files in an image!!

We all hide our important and secret( :D ) files in our system.In this way we restrict the other users from viewing our files.As you already know there is a problem of virus and malware with this hiding process.So what we should do to effectively and securely hide our files?


My answer is to save it in an image file instead!!


Here is the process for that :

• Let your files that must  be hidden are 1.mpeg,2.txt and so on..
• Add these files to archive and name it as say hidden.rar
• Select an image file,let it be image.jpeg .
• Let this files are stored in the location say D:\New Folder.

                                     

• Now go to Start->Run->cmd->Go to the specified location D:\New Folder.
• Type "Copy /b image.jpg+hidden.rar new.jpg".

                                

• Now you can see a new file new.jpg with all these files.You can extract the files by archive extracting program.

Recently there is lot of buzz about this Mobile Number Portability so I intend to write something I know about this now.So,Mobile Number Portability is nothing but a service which is provided to a mobile phone subscriber to choose a service provider of his choice without changing the mobile number.So,if you are the one who is not any more interested in your network services or who have some other reasons to change your network,Mobile Number Portability is for you.
                                              

                                                


This feature can be used by both Pre-Paid and Post-Paid subscribers with the extra option of change in technology like GSM/CDMA.

How can I maintain the same number even though I change my service provider?

In this MNP, the calls or messages are just routed from one subscriber to another i.e ; If you change your Service Provider SP1 then all your calls or messages coming to your number will be forworded to the S1 by your previous Service Provider SP2.

You cannot change your SP too frequently,a gap of atleast 3 months must be maintained.To change your Service Provider you will be charged with only 19 Rs.

How to change my Serviceprovider? 

1. Send an SMS (text message) with the word "PORT" to the phone number "1900". 
2. You will immediately receive your own UPC (Unique Porting Code).This is a eight-digit code with an expiry date.
3. Consult your nearest service operator office and after all the proceedings like filling up the form with your UPC and  paying the money you can collect your new SIM card.
4. According to what I came to know your request will take upto 4-5 hours of time and after that you can enjoy your new subsriber service.It must take no longer than 7 days to complete the request according to some sources!!

How to play Counter Strike online?

Counter Strike is an easy game when playing in your own PC with bots.But to play it online is a very different process and it may be very difficult for the newbies to understand.This post is for those who are confused of how to play Counter Strike online.I myself tried very very hard googling for exact information and watching YouTube videos when I was a newbie.So lets get started with this one!!

First of all,Why we have to play Online??

CounterStrike game is designed in such a way that bots uses AI techniques and play in only one dimensional play.They lack quick responses and thinking like Humans and are very predictable if you play regularly.So to get better gaming experience Online gaming is more preferred and popular.

How to play Online??

To play CounterStrike online we have 3 ways.They are using:

• Steam Servers.
• Garena.
• Hamachi.

Let us look at every way in detail now.

• STEAM SERVERS

1. The first thing you need to do for this is to buy an original pack of Counter Strike from the nearest gaming Store.
2. Then go to the site http://store.steampowered.com/ and install the Steam there.
3. Once you installed the client,get an account and activate it by going into Settings and typing in your activation code which can be found under your CS pack.
4. After that you are ready to play CS online.Just open the game,go to Find Servers.Select a server and start playing.If you dont have any servers you can go to Console by pressing ` button and start connecting to the server using IP address i.e.connect <Ip add>
5. You can find the IP Adresses here .

• GARENA CLIENT

• Garena is an online gaming client which is used to play online games and which connects millions of gamers around the world.It supports various famous online games such as Call of Duty(CoD),Warcraft,Defense of The Ancients(DoTA),Age of Empires,Age of Mythology.You can download Garena client here .  
• After downloading and installing,register in Garena and get an ID and a password and login.
• Now you are ready to start gaming in Garena,go to settings and setup the counterstrike.exe file.

                                                   

• Go to your desired room and start playing.If you are from India then you can go to IndiaRoom 1,2,3.

                                   

• After starting the game,you can start playing by going into FindServers and selecting a server or goto the console by pressing ` and type SLIST you will get a series of servers with its IP adress.Type connect <IP ADD> and hit enter.

• HAMACHI CLIENT

                        

• Hamachi is a software which creates a virtual LAN between the users.You can download it here .
• After installing and configuring Hamachi, create/join in a network and u are ready to play the game with your friend.
• Go to window and check the box show advanced options .

                                           

• Then right click on the players name and click on advanced.
• If you are the host , you can see your friends Hamachi IP in the Peer VPN Address and below you can see Peer VPN Alias.Set the alias IP in such a way that first 3 numbers of the IP is yours and the last number is a unique number.i.e; If your Hamachi ID is 5.1.2.3 and your friends Hamachi ID is 5.4.6.7 then your Peer VPN Alias is 5.1.2.(any number),ex:5.1.2.10.If you are playing with more than one mone of your friends set your Alias in a sequence i.e,set the Alias as 5.1.2.11 , 5.1.2.12 , etc;

                                       

• In this way you can continue to set the Alias for all your friends.
• Now,everything is set to start a Counter Strike game.
• Open the game and go to New Game,De-Select the Bots option.(You can also set a server by going into hlds.exe which is situated in the counterstrike folder).Now you have created a server and ready to play.
• On the clients side,tell them to go to console and type connect <ur Hamachi IP>.

That must do it!!So we saw all the possible ways to play CounterStrike online.Even though there is another Non-Steam procedure to play CS.I didnt mention it as I never tried it!! :D
